A note about Diversity:

In June of 2020, we shared our commitment to our Lime Crime Community to evolve and grow as an inclusive brand that works to represent anyone and everyone who expresses themselves unapologetically.

Lime Crime has been working hard these past few months to increase the diversity of our staff, partners and models. We continue to stand with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Lime Crime is committed to creating the most diverse team possible and is making every effort to seek out applicants of color. As positions within the company open up, we have consistently taken the initiative to increase diversity. Since June of 2020, we’ve had 12 opportunities to hire new team members and we’ve worked to move towards more diversity. Our new hires are 20% more diverse than our pre-June 2020 staff, with non-white employees making up almost 60% of new hires in this time period.

We will continue to push to hire the best qualified, hardest working, and most diverse staff we can, and actively encourage applicants of color to seek us out. We want applicants to know that our environment is a workplace where they will be supported and encouraged to grow in their career with Lime Crime.

We are also committed to increase diversity every time we have an opportunity to work with an influencer or model in a paid capacity.  Since June 2020, we’ve worked with 15 influencers in a paid capacity.  60% were Black, 26.6% were White, 6.7% were Hispanic or Latino, and 6.7% identified as mixed. We’ve worked with 8 models since June of 2020, 37.5% identified as Black, 25% Hispanic or Latino and 25% Asian and 12.5% as Two or More Races.

In addition to the above,  we have terminated our partnerships with individuals, companies and retailers, including Dolls Kill, who do not support our commitment to being an inclusive brand.

As we work towards being a more equitable brand, Lime Crime appreciates hearing your feedback and helping the brand see where its blind spots may be.  Lime Crime knows that by listening to the diverse voices of their community, the brand will truly evolve as it moves forward.
